Briko-Maplus Nordic Blue Stick Fluoro Grip Wax (-5 to -1 degrees C), 45 grams. Ideal when snow temperature is within this range and there is high air humidity ie. over 50%. As a general rule, grip wax should be applied starting 30-40cm in front of the ski binding toe piece and end directly under the back (heel) of the binding (40-50cm total length). First cover the area to be treated with grip wax with masking tape, then wax the rest of the ski with glide wax (tip and tail). Next, use a couple of strips of masking tape to mark the start and end of the grip area to avoid applying the grip wax over the parts of the base already waxed. Sand the area with 150 grit sandpaper. Next, if the snow is rough (coarse) apply a thin layer of Orange S60 Base Binder using an iron set at 80 degrees C. Wait for the ski to cool (around 15 minutes). Once cool, spread the wax on the skis (back and forth) with the Synthetic Cork. Finally, apply several layers (4-6) of the right wax to suit actual conditions. Each layer should be spread properly using the Synthetic Cork
